Description
The set:
Inspired by the iconic 90’s console – NES (Nintendo Entertainment System), RetroFlag has created the NESPi + case. Combined with the power of Raspberry Pi, this set enables you to enjoy the games from your childhood on your modern TV. Thanks to the RetroPie software *, that we preinstall on the devices, you get to choose among different emulators to run your favorite games. Since everything is set up and ready the only thing for you to do is to connect the console with an HDMI cable to the TV and start playing.
Note: We do not provide any games and it is your responsibility to find and install games.
* The RetroPie software is open-source and can be found on https://retropie.org.uk/download/. We do install and set up the software free of charge, however, if you would like to set it up by yourself, we also offer the set without any software.
The case:
The case applies the style of the iconic console – NES (Nintendo Entertainment System). It comes with a fully functional Power and Reset button, LED indicator, Safe Shutdown, and Safe Reset. It is specifically designed and it is compatible with Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B, and Raspberry Pi 2 Model B. Moreover, it comes with an integrated heating system, where a fan and heat sinks are installed in the case in order to keep the CPU and the rest of the Raspberry components cool. The case is specifically designed for easy access to all of the Raspberry audio and video ports.
The controller:
The Classic USB Controller-J is the default option for the NESPi+ case. The high-quality build and the responsiveness of the buttons make it among the most frequently chosen controller in the retro gaming world. The feel of the joystick contributes to the grip. Moreover, the joystick can be used with different operating systems which improves the flexibility and freedom of usage.
